midweek bible studies

We believe that meeting regularly to study scripture is a vital part of growing in faith and deepening our relationships with each other. Several groups meet during the week. If you are interested in joining us then please get in touch and we'll find a group that works for you.

MONdays

Christian Meditation 19:30 - 20:15pm @ St Ia

The Christian meditation groups provide worshippers with 45 minutes of support and practice in the art of silent meditative prayer according to the World Community for Christian Meditation.

Our Monday Evening group meet in the Lady Chapel at St Ia (side door entrance off St. Andrews Street).

Our small groups welcome visitors all the year around so please come and join us.

Needles & Pins 19:00 - 21:00pm @ St Johns

Needles and pins is a friendly group of enthusiastic sewers who meet each week to chat, drink tea and work on our own individual designs or group sewing projects.

In the past these have included knitted hats for the homeless, hats for the special care baby unit at Treliske, and quilts for the Linus project.

Welcome Wednesday 14:00pm @ St Johns

A relaxed, welcoming, creative space to share and learn new skills and crafts. All welcome to just come along for a chat, tea, coffee and some free food to take home or eat there.

Morning Prayer 9:00am @ St Johns

Tiddlers 10:00 - 11:30am @ St Johns

Tiddlers is a group for under 5s, parents and carers that meets every Tuesday morning in term time.

We play, we craft, we eat snacks and we sing. Either in the church hall or just opposite in the Vicarage garden.

No need to book, if you have an under-5 just turn up!

Choir Practice 19:00pm @ St Ia

The St Ia choir is a friendly, dedicated group of voluntary singers who come together from a range of backgrounds by a love of singing sacred music in a liturgical context.

Tuesday Church 5pm @ Salvation Army St Ives

Intergenerational time of worship, food and fellowship at the Salvation Army.
