What are our priorities as a church?
Very simply, our priority is Jesus. We think Jesus is exactly who every nation, city, seaside town and individual needs to meet - we aim to make that possible.

What does that look like?
We are serious about our worship. Some of our services are in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, others have a very informal feel. But, whatever the style, we think doing it well is important - these traditions are both rich ways of engaging with God and, if Jesus is who he says he is, then he is worthy of our best.
We are serious about scripture - our preaching and teaching. Because truth needs to be communicated and understood. So we take seriously exploring and understanding God's message to us in his word, the Bible. We seek to apply that word to our lives in today's ever-changing and complex world.
We are serious about community, inside the church and outside. Because we believe that God calls us to a faith and life shared with others. This means that we like to spend time together as members of the church, and also that we try to get out of our buildings - supporting and enjoying the wider community of our town and local area.

What can I expect?

You can expect us to be friendly, welcoming and relaxed - if you want to join us at any point and would like to connect with someone first - we'd love to hear from you! - get in touch with one of our team.
