At St Ives Church, we love welcoming children and families into our church community! Across all our services, there are opportunities for children of every age to get creative, explore faith and discover that they belong.
At our 3:30pm Wild Church service, we also have dedicated children’s ministry groups where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus, build friendships and have lots of fun along the way. There’s a place for every child and family here! Find out more about our children’s groups below.

Across all our Sunday gatherings, we have a dedicated space for children aged 0–4 to play, explore and have fun. With books, toys, cars, dolls, puzzles and plenty of room to play, little ones can enjoy a safe, welcoming and relaxed environment while parents and carers take part in the service.
We want everyone in our church family, from the youngest to the oldest, to feel welcome and included.

At Wild Church, we love seeing our children worshipping Jesus and growing in their faith! Our Kids’ Work is for children from Reception through to Year 5, and we believe that children are a valued and important part of our Church family.
We begin each gathering together, worshipping Jesus side by side as one Church family. Then, the children head off to their own session, where faith comes alive through fun games, lively discussions, creative activities and exciting Bible stories.
Our sessions are full of energy, laughter and discovery! We want to create a space where children feel welcomed, loved and free to explore who God is and what it means to follow Him. Above all, our heart is for every child to discover that God is with them, that they can know Him personally, and that they can experience His presence in their everyday lives.
At our 11:15am service, children can also take part in child-led activities alongside the sermon. These offer a fun, accessible and meaningful way for them to engage with what we’re learning together as a Church.
At Wild Church, we love seeing our older children grow in their faith, build friendships and discover more about what it means to follow Jesus.
Our older Kids’ group is for children in Years 5–9, and we have a special space just for them in our Prayer Cabin. Each week, they head out to the cabin to spend time together, exploring faith through devotionals, playing games and building meaningful relationships with one another. It’s a place where they can relax, have fun, ask questions and grow in their understanding of who God is.
Our heart is to help every young person feel known, valued and part of our Church family, while discovering that faith isn’t just for Sundays — it’s something they can live out every day. We want to encourage them to grow in their relationship with Jesus, support one another and discover the joy of walking with God together.
At Wild Church, our heart is to be a community of young people who love God, love one another and love the communities we’re part of — and we believe there should be plenty of fun along the way!
Following our 3pm Sunday service, our young people gather together to share a meal, catch up on the week and spend time together. We make space to explore the Bible, play games, ask the big questions, pray for one another and discover more about who God is and what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.
Wild Church Youth is a relaxed, welcoming space where young people can come as they are, build genuine friendships and feel part of something bigger than themselves. We want every young person to know that they belong, that their questions matter and that they are loved by God.
During the week, we meet on Thursdays during term time for our weekly baby and toddler sessions. Join us from 10–11:30am at St John’s in the Fields.
Everyone aged 0–4 is welcome, along with their parents and carers — just turn up!
There are plenty of toys, fun games and activities to enjoy, along with our favourite sing-along time. While the little ones play and have fun, parents and carers
can enjoy a hot drink, a chat and some time to connect with others.
It’s a relaxed, friendly space where everyone is welcome.
