FRIENDS OF ST IVES CHURCH

The Friends of St ives is a charity that exists to support the life of St ives churches, both by financial donations and regular prayer.

The Friends of St Ives Church is a charity whose purpose is to unite in fellowship those who value our church buildings and their history within St Ives and seek by prayer and financial support to maintain our work.

The Friends make donations to the PCC to further its worship and to enhance the comfort and beauty of the Church. It is hoped that in the near future, the Friends will support the projects were currently seeking plans and permissions for including; roof restoration of St Johns, accessibility entrance at St Ia, maintenance of the St Ia organ, and provide additional security and improve the appearance of the main entrance.

Many visitors to the St Ives churches, especially St Ia feel that it is a very special place. Its beauty, history and unique atmosphere attract people back time after time whether day visiting or regular St Ives visitors, whether to worship, enjoy concerts or simply to savour a peaceful moment, or enjoying a coffee in our church cafe!

We warmly welcome new members and would invite all our visitors to consider joining the Friends scheme.   The current subscription is £2 per month?, or £160 for life membership (£140 if over 65). If you are a UK taxpayer, completion of the Gift Aid declaration will enhance your contribution by 25%.
